An Update in Life

Hiya everyone,

I thought I would update with what I have been doing. I have been pretty busy with school – so this may be a rant. It’s almost the end of the quarter, with tons of papers, readings, and finals. Unfortunately, it’s a massive workload.

For one class, I have to write a 15 page paper (exactly 15 pages). Though the topic of the paper seems interesting, I don’t know how I will actually reach 15 pages. It almost seems impossible. Plus, finding sources and evidences to support my claim for the topic seems harder than  I thought. The paper is due on June 4th.

In addition to that class, we also have a final on June 10th. It’s a paper and a final. Usually, professors give only one. Maybe others also give both? But, it’s a lot to do.

In another class, I have a 5-7 page paper to write. The topic is to write about a suburb and an incident that has happened in there. At first, I was having trouble because I didn’t really find anything in my suburb but after I talked with the TA (Teacher’s Assistant), I now have a focus point and just need to put all my thoughts into the paper. The paper is due on June 8th. There is no final for this class – yay!

Luckily, for my last class, there is no paper to do, but a final.

So, yesterday, I was cleaning around the apartment because no one else was doing it. I started with the bathroom and it was so dirty. The sink and toilet were just … disgusting. There was hair in the sink. Let’s just say, when I was done cleaning it, it looked like no one ever touched the bathroom before. Haha, maybe I’m giving myself too much credit.

Then, I started on the kitchen counter. There were endless plates, pans, and utensils that needed cleaning. But, I left them in the sink for someone else to do it. I am definitely not going to clean EVERYTHING, which would be totally unfair. I cleaned the counters which were stained with who knows what – like, sauce or spilled liquid. I also cleaned the inside of the microwave. Man, that took a lot of work. The stuff would not come off.

One random thing in my life: I have been craving rice bowls for a while. I was trying to buy one after my classes this past week. So, I went around 6:00PM to get one but they were closed. I tried another time at 5:00PM but they were closed too . Then, I tried at 3:15PM but they were cleaning up. Sadly to say, I wasn’t able to buy one. However, I didn’t give up hope. On Friday, during work, I decided to go get one around 10:45AM and they had a sign that says, “open at 11AM”. A line was starting to form so I quickly lined up too. So, I got steamed rice with beef (and onions and green peppers)

And, yes, it was totally worth it. Well, that’s all I have to say. Besides from school (and doing the daily dressup on poupee girl), I haven’t really done anything else. The quarter is almost ending, and soon starts summer school.
